MEET LAURA CONDENANZA (LPC-A)

Anxiety & Trauma Therapist in Greenville, SC

You’re not broken. Your mind and body adapted to protect you. Together, we’ll gently work to understand what you’ve been through, ease the weight of anxiety, depression and trauma, and help you reconnect with a deeper sense of calm, clarity, and inner peace.

Intentional, thoughtful, trauma-informed care for modern women navigating the invisible load of life, love, and expectations. A place where can finally say “enough” to anxiety, depression and trauma.

My clients often say, “I’ve built a beautiful life — so why do I still feel anxious and disconnected?

Counseling with me is collaborative, human, and grounded in care. It’s a space where you can bring both the gratitude and the grief, the love and the exhaustion. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface — the patterns, pressures, and old stories that keep you feeling stuck — and begin to make space for calm, connection, and self-trust. Our work isn’t about fixing who you are; it’s about helping you feel at home in the life you’ve already built.

I work with women, mothers, and teen girls who carry more than anyone realizes — the expectations, the emotions, the endless responsibility of holding life together. They’re thoughtful and capable, but beneath the surface, there’s often worry, restlessness, and a quiet sense of disconnection from who they used to be. Many are navigating big transitions: the identity shifts of motherhood, the weight of perfectionism, or the growing pains of adolescence and menopause in an overwhelming world.

When we have the courage to walk into our story and own it, we get to change the ending”

I HAVE BEEN THERE

(I remember it all too well…)

I was born and raised in Argentina and have lived in several countries — experiences that shaped my sense of identity, authenticity, belonging, and the many ways women adapt to stay strong.

For a long time, I believed that good grades, titles, and success defined my worth. I spent over a decade in advertising, building a life that looked accomplished on paper, but deep down I felt disconnected from myself. It was motherhood — with all its beauty, chaos, and constant reinvention — that humbled me. Raising my children without family nearby taught me what it truly means to start over, to grieve who you were, and to meet each new version of yourself with compassion.

I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and found my passion in supporting mothers and women — those who give endlessly and are ready to give back to themselves.

Outside of sessions, I’m a wife, a mother of two girls, a cooking enthusiast, a travel planner at heart, a Swifty, and someone who takes friendship seriously. My journey taught me that healing isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about coming home to yourself, again and again, through every season of life.

Specialties We Work In

  • Anxiety and depression can make you feel stuck in your head — worried, exhausted, or disconnected from the things that once felt like you. In therapy, we slow things down to understand what’s behind those feelings and help you find new ways to cope and care for yourself. Together, we’ll work toward feeling calmer, more hopeful, and more connected to your life again.

  • Trauma leaves traces — in your body, your thoughts, your relationships, and the way you move through the world. You may look composed on the outside, but inside you’re carrying the weight of experiences that never had space to heal. EMDR therapy helps the mind and body process what’s been stuck, so those memories lose their power and begin to feel more distant. Together, we’ll help you release what’s been holding you back and move toward a life that feels calmer, safer, and truly your own.

  • Every relationship goes through seasons — moments of closeness and moments of distance. Over time, communication can start to feel like logistics instead of connection, and the small disconnections begin to add up. Couples therapy offers a space to slow down, listen differently, and understand what’s really happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll rebuild trust, strengthen emotional intimacy, and help you feel seen and supported in your relationship again.

  • Postpartum mood disorders can show up as sadness, anxiety, irritability, or feeling unlike yourself after having a baby. In therapy, we create space to talk about what you’re really feeling, without shame or judgment, and explore ways to bring balance and support back into your life. Together, we’ll help you feel more grounded and connected — to yourself, your baby, and your partner — as you find your way into this new season of life.

  • Women and mothers carry more than anyone can see. The world praises your strength but overlooks your exhaustion, your loneliness, and the quiet unraveling beneath the surface. Therapy offers a space to set it down, to speak the truth you’ve been holding in, and to begin healing the parts of you that have been running on empty for far too long. Together, we’ll lighten the load and help you reconnect with yourself, your needs, and the people you love.

  • The mother–daughter relationship holds so much — love, loyalty, misunderstanding, and unspoken hurt. Patterns often repeat across generations: the pressure to please, to stay small, to be strong no matter what. In therapy, we create space to untangle those stories with compassion — to understand each other not through blame, but through truth. Together, we’ll work to rebuild communication, heal old wounds, and create a relationship rooted in respect, empathy, love and emotional closeness.

  • Many of the clients I work with know what it feels like to live between worlds — to build a life in a new country while carrying the weight of another one in their heart. I offer a space to process the complexity of that experience: the loneliness, identity shifts, and quiet grief that can come with starting over. Together, we’ll explore how your roots, culture, and story shape who you are, helping you feel grounded and at home within yourself, wherever you are.

“As a woman in her 40’s, juggling career, aging parents, teenagers, and all the other busy things that go along with this stage, I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed and anxious in my daily life. Laura has been a godsend. Her compassion and understanding for what I am going through has been incredible. She has given me the tools I need to cope with the day to day stressors of life as well as given me permission to be un-perfect, something I have struggled to do on my own.I will be forever grateful to Laura for helping me navigate this difficult time.”
